The Converse x MadeMe One Star Platform is being released on May 24th in four colour ways. The black colour way is in a suede material and is contrasted against white stitching and white platform/laces. This platform has elevated the usual silhouette of the One Star and delivered a very contemporary collaboration.The inspiration for this sneaker’s style came from the New York culture in the 1990’s and was designed by MadeMe’s founder Erin Magee. Raised stars span across the toe section of the midsole on these sneakers as subtle branding while the MadeMe logo is stamped towards the back of the heel. The black stripe detailing sits just below the outlined logo on the platforms.The rest of the midsole’s detailing adheres to Converse’s classic look, but with a twist.
